Kundang is the industrial hub on the south-western side of Rawang, between Rawang town, Kuang and Sungai Buloh. Its older estates, Kawasan Perindustrian Kundang and Kundang Jaya, are working manufacturing areas with edible oil refining, automotive parts, food, printing and electrical products. The LATAR Kundang exit gives direct expressway access towards Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Selangor, and new schemes such as KLIP Plus add semi-D and link factories for SMEs.
