Balakong is not one park but three main industrial estates in Hulu Langat district under Majlis Perbandaran Kajang: Kawasan Perindustrian Balakong (Kampung Baru Balakong), Balakong Jaya and Cheras Jaya, beside the SILK and Cheras-Kajang expressways. They hold a large pool of SME factories.
